Installing OpenIMSCore

Ini adalah salah satu bagian dari Kerja Praktek gw yaitu menginstall OpenIMSCore.

Quite a trouble when I was installing this at Ubuntu 7.1.

Actually, the guide in this link will work if you follow it exactly. However, several preparation that may be needed to install this program if you do not download directly from Ubuntu:

1. If you have the OpenIMSCore from the other location not through SVN directly. You may have some of compile error that

link ../scsf/[filename] is not command in C.

I forget the error sentence

Solution: Replace that file that contain it with the real code, not just link.

2. Make sure that the directory /opt/OpenIMSCore as mentioned earlier. If you install at the other location, it won’t work. I don’t know how to correct it.

3. If your Ubuntu do not have connection to Internet. You must download the dependency manually, it must be done earlier than installing OpenIMSCore.

4. If it still doesn’t work, ask google because i’m not pro hehehehe……..
